South Carolina Alliance of Black School Educators


Membership

The mission of the South Carolina Alliance of Black School Educators (SCABSE) is to ensure a high quality education for all children - particularly for African-American children - by establishing coalitions, providing forums, facilitating the placement of African American professionals, and influencing public policy.

Networking:: Enhance opportunity to interact with colleagues and consultants       about crucial educational issues.
   
Research: Access to reports, abstracts, studies and other documents related to specific  educational topics - particularly those dealing with African-  American educational issues.
   
Annual Meeting and National Conference: Exposure to nationally noted consultants and opportunities to participate in seminars addressing relevant issues.
   
Workshops: Numerous opportunities to participate in informative and motivational workshops.
   
Newsletters: Relevant information through quarterly SCABSE Newsletters.
   
Membership: Open to persons interested with any phase of educational work or supportive of education.  Students may also be members.

Active -  Full-time education employee
Affiliate -  Supporter of education (an individual or organization)
Retired -  Retired from education service
Student -  High school/full-time college student
